HOW DOES IT WORK

LIMITATIONS

Keep in mind that there is no official and compatible way to recover the deleted messages. This is an alternative solution and you may find limitations caused by the selected messaging application or even the Android operating system:

1) Text messages are retrieved by your notifications, therefore, if you have silenced a chat or if you are viewing a message in the messaging application before it is deleted, you will not receive a notification, so WAMR can not save it! This also obviously means that it is impossible to recover notifications / messages before downloading this application (so download it quickly!).

2) WAMR can not save files if they are not completely downloaded! Then, if it is disconnected or has an unstable connection, or in general, if the sender deletes the message that contains a medium before the messaging application downloads it, WAMR can not do anything to save it.

3) If you are not using a WiFi connection, your messaging application may not download some media automatically due to its configuration. You can change this behavior in the Messaging> Settings> Data usage and storage application and increase your chances.
